Wallace E Taylor, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Taylor has over twenty-five years of medical experience as a General Otolaryngologist and is certified as a Neuro-Sensory Specialist. He has practiced in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado since 1987 with a special interest in environmental toxicity and food allergy. Though geographically beautiful, the San Luis Valley was plagued by a burden of man-made chemical toxins related to the agriculture industry and toxic minerals from the mining runoff that entered the area's water supplies. This led to Dr. Taylor treating an exceptionally high rate of chronic diseases including autoimmune diseases, thyroid disorders, headache and allergies.

Dr. Taylor was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a bachelor of arts in zoology with highest honors. Following college, Dr. Taylor received his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Upon completion of medical school, he served for nine years in the United States Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Taylor also provided service to his country in Operation Desert Storm in 1991. He received an Army Commendation medal in addition to Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors during his education.

Dr. Taylor is honored to be joining Dr. Stewart at the NeuroSensory Center of Austin as it provides him the opportunity to apply his knowledge of environmental toxicity and food allergies in an innovative way. He and his wife Lynne are also pleased to be in Austin as their two adult children live in Austin as well.

Dr. Taylor's hobbies include fly fishing, golf and enjoying traveling with his wife.
